The Journey and a Call

A Journey and a Call

And Passing from the Gray Havens the route appears not to be as expected there a jumping to and fro. Not as the Land is mapped, yet in each stage an archetype could be found.. A little to the East there was Caradhras.

The borders marked once by standing stones and Ogham to the Wylde places of the Reavers. And to some the old markings could still be found... If you knew how to see. And how to read the Alphabet of The Trees.
Beith - Luis - Nion

Through winded roads over misty mountains, where nothing grows of the Tree Folk. Perhaps a lonely herder with no worries bar that of his high pastoral flock and the preparedness of fattening enough for Lammas Fairs.

To swoop down on a Hawks Wind Cut Wing to more subtle lands.

And while here passing now what to some.... As-like a Gray Man of the Northern Tower considered villages, some would whittle and craft as towns, either way the Norman would call these little human havens a Hamlet and The Ice Gods of the Norse a Dale or such.

The identity is more mixed between The Helvetic Elves and largely Saéson commoners - and while I have witnessed Illness in many lands where the Tribal Identity is fractured. It is better to Identify with something where there is a pride of Nobility a Code of Chivalry and some merit of respect for our mother the land.

In these paths I am reminded that we are feared and distrusted in these parts and there has been good reason for this.

There has been good reason for this within all parties.

We ourselves in our own fear have mixed earth magic with the formulae of human mages. And while that process was initially one of knowing and understanding many of us preferred to remain within the apparatus and structure of such hierarchical and unnecessary weyrds.

And of course there was many a hungry dark cold winter when we slipped into the borders with The Black Douglas, (The Good Sir James), to enforce such fears and take what cattle and stock we could - aye even we need to eat from time to time.

Sir, you see,
How the English tyrant forcibly

Has dispossessed me of my land

And you are made to understand

That the earl of Carrick claims to be

The rightful king of this country.

The English, since he slew that man,

Are keen to catch him if they can;

And they would seize his lands as well

And yet with him I faith would dwell!

Now, therefore, if it be your will,

With him will I take good or ill.

Through him I hope my land to win

Despite the Clifford and his kin.

—The Brus, John Barbour

And there were the times when Fighting for Freedom from enslavement that we fought with The Uallas: coursing like a sea wave deep deep inside these Middle Kingdoms all the way to shatter The Middle Castles.

And the retribution was an irony for yes while we fought a blow for freedom of tyranny. The web of greedy feudal lords was the underlying schema.

My family Royal Red Blooded from the Dexterous Hand, direct descendants Fey of The Ard Righ of Emerald Lands - The Mac Laomainn mor Chomhail & Ard Gilleain na Tuaighe of the Mighty Battles Axe, (MacGilleEathain), fought alongside noble houses such as the MacDonalds, (Clann Cholla and Siol Chuinn (Children of Colla and Seed of Conn), the MacKays, (Mac Aoidh), and MacLeods, (Clann Mhic Leòid).

Only to be eventually victorious at ~ The Battle of The Bannock Burn when the Knights of Solomon rightfully sided with the De Bruce.... Sad such noble concepts of a Ard Righ to, unite The Majority of the Clans with the Exception of the Squint Mouthed ones who would always be happy to cuddy the shit of PenDragon for a few Gold Pieces...

Where was the wisdom in their treachery? For we fought best on the sea and they fought best in the dead of the night when given our hospitality they would take us and slay us.

They did so in The Glen of Old King Coe to our MacDonald brothers and sisters, they did so to The MacGregor, (The Walkers- Sìol Ailpein: Seed of Alpin) And are one of the Seven... a family able to trace their descent from Alpin).

They had a hand in the betrayal of The Wallace, (Uilliam Uallas), and they also betrayed our Gaelic hospitality at the Myrrdin of Toward. Where Two hundred of our Gentleman were hung by the neck our women folk defiled, some taken.

Two Hundred of Our children sold into slavery or married off to their Squint Mouthed kin...buried alive. Burned at the Stake!

Aye in our ancestry and I could go back to the very dawn of this Kali Yuga - back to Scythia and standing in our chariots with the mighty Sparta, being learned by Aristotle and Chiron being married to the Daughter Scotia a Princess of the Pharaoh Neferhotep I.

Aye -Know that Scotland got its name from the "Scoti" or "Scotti" my ancestors Gaelic speaking people who had come from Ireland around 500AD and settled in Argyll (named then Dàl Riata or Dalriada).

Where was the wisdom in their treachery for we fought best on the sea and they fought best in the dead of the night when given our hospitality they would take us and slay us.

Sing Memories of The Mother
*Goddess Cailleach

Cailleach, Celtic Crone Goddess

“Bha da shleagha chaola chatha
air an taobh eile dh’an chaillich
Bha ‘h-aodann dubh-ghorm air dreach a ‘ghuail
‘S a deud cnabadach cnamh-ruadh.

Bha aon suil ghlumach ‘na ceann
Bu luaithe na rionnag gheamhraidh;
Craobh mhineach chas air a ceann
Mar choill inich de ‘n t-seana chrithinn.

(There were two slender spears of battle
upon the other side of the carlin
her face was blue-black, of the lustre of coal,
And her bone tufted tooth was like rusted bone.

In her head was one deep pool-like eye
Swifter than a star in winter
Upon her head gnarled brushwood
like the clawed old wood of the aspen root).
(from Campbell: The Yellow Muilearteach, in Popular Tales of the West Highlands Vol 3.)

The Neolithic goddess Cailleach, known variously as the “blue hag”, the “Bear goddess” and “Boar goddess”, “owl faced”, and “ancient woman”, has survived through the ages. Coming from the continent, Her worship spread to the British Isles early after the recession of the glaciers. The proto-Celtic peoples honored Cailleach and blended Her varying aspects, creating images invoking both love and terror. The various names that Cailleach has been worshipped in lend a clue to Her wide spread worship: Boi, Bui, Cally Berry, Caillech Bherri, Cailliach, Cailliaech, Carline, Digde, Dige, Dirra, Dirri, Duineach, Hag of Beara, Mala Liath, Mag-Moullach, Scotia, and Nicnevin.

Cailleach in modern Gaelic means ‘old wife’, but interestingly, it originally meant a ‘veiled one’ (from caille, a veil). In all her various Goddess forms, Cailleach is seen as a Crone Goddess who embodies winter.

She is sometimes depicted as an old hag with the teeth of a wild bear and boar’s tusks or else is depicted as a one-eyed giantess who leaps from peak to peak, wielding Her magical white rod and blasting the vegetation with frost.

Cailleach’s white rod, or slachdan, made of birch, bramble, willow or broom, is a Druidic rod which gives Her power over the weather and the elements. Cailleach is also a goddess who governs dreams and inner realities.

She is the goddess of the sacred hill, the Sidhe, and the place where we enter into the hidden realm of the Fey and spirit beings. Sacred stones, the bones of the earth, are Her special haunts.

Cailleach is connected to the ‘bean sidhe’ or banshee (which means ‘supernatural woman’) who are the wild women of the Fey.

Cailleach is also the guardian spirit of a number of animals. She is associated with the ancient tradition of herding reindeer. This means that the reindeer (and all deer) are Her cattle; She herds and milks them and often gives them protection from hunters.

Swine, wild goats, wild cattle, and wolves are also Her creatures. Cailleach is also a fishing goddess, as well as the guardian of wells and streams.

In Scotland, Cailleach is considered to be the daughter of Grainne, or the Winter Sun. She is affectionately known as ‘Grandmother of the Clanns’ and ‘the Ancestress of the Caledonii Tribe’. The legends of the Caledonii tribe speak of the “Bringer of the Ice Mountains”, the great blue Old Woman of the highlands. Called Cailleach, Cailleach Bheur, Scotia, Carline or Mag-Moullach by the people.

She was the Beloved Mountain Giantess who protected the early tribe from harm and nurtured them in Her sacred mountains.

Cailleach Bheur is reborn each Samhain and goes about smiting the earth to blight growth and call down the snow.

On Beltane Eve , She throws Her staff under a holly tree or a gorse bush (both are Her plants) and then turns into a gray stone, thus ending winter. In other myths this happens on Imbolc Eve, but rather than turning into a stone, She is instead reborn a young woman.

In Ireland Cailleach is known in Her singular form as Cailleach Beara or “Hag of Beara, – or else worshipped as part of a trio of Goddesses with Her sisters Cailleach Bolus and Cailleach Corca Duibhne.

In the Irish Triad, she is considered one of the three great ages: ‘The age of the yew tree, the age of the eagle, the age of the Hag of Beara’. Cailleach Beara inhabits the Beara peninsula on the Cork-Kerry border on the north side of Bantry Bay, Scotland.

She is said to have “let loose the rivers, shaped the hills, and waved Her hammer over the growing grass.” In Ireland as in Scotland, She has power over the three months of winter, and is said to turn to stone every spring and to be reborn every October 31 (Samhain).

In the legend of the coming of the Tuatha De Danann we are told that Cailleach Beara is the opposite face of the Goddess Bride (also known as Bride, Bridgit, Bridget, Brig, Brigentis, Brighid, Brigidu, Briginda, or Brigit).

In western Ireland, especially in the area of the Cliffs of Mohor, Cailleach is worshipped as a deity called Bronach or Brenach (Ugliness). In northern Ireland, Cailleach is called Cally Berry.

On November 1, a festival known as ‘Reign of the Old Woman Cailleach’ is celebrated annually in the Celtic countries (in Ireland it is known as ‘Day of the Banshees’).

On the eve of Imbolc (Jan. 31 or Feb 1), also celebrated is the fest called ‘End of Cailleach’. This fest signals the start of Imbolc and the end of winter.

The "Scotichronicon" - one of the earliest histories of My people, or after we told our tales from tongue to ear...

This book written in the 1440s, claims there was a legend that a Greek prince called Gaythelos was banished, with his wife Scota, the daughter of an Egyptian Pharoah.

He sailed westwards and landed in Spain. From there, he and his followers explored further and one of his sons, named Hiber, found an island (later called Ireland) which he named Scotia, after his mother.

So Gaythelos' name gave rise to "Gaelic", Hiber gave rise to Hibernia and Scota gave rise to Scotia and then Scotland.

Another variation on this legend suggests that an Egyptian princess married the King of Portugal in the 4th century.

She brought the Stone of Destiny (Jacob's pillow in the Bible) as a dowry. Her daughter, named Scota, married the King of Ireland's son and her descendants called themselves the Children of Scota.

Either way we are the 4th wave of Helvetic Elves that traveled and met the. High Elves - The Tuatha De Dannan before the Iron came and blighted the lands magick where they retreated to the Sidhe we continued north to where we are today.

Uniting Pict, Norse, Firbolg and Formorian we mastered the Isles and the Sea....

Yet from the foam of the sea we can here her mothers whispers and weeps, so freedom only led to eventually another slavery when the High Steward assumed the Crown. (The Jacobite House of Stewart).

And the land was further cut and new allegiances were formed between men and new pools of dark webbed slavery came to the fore.

The Mac Laomainn were tired of war they became ministers of the Gods and studied, giving up their lands and marrying their fairest and best to keep the peace from encroaching Thanes and mostly the squint mouthed ones.

While in another age the other part of the Grey Elves of my heritage the aforementioned warriors and masters of the western sea MacGilleEathain kept their bonds of the Eld and fought in another forlorn battle - and it was hopeless and truly the Scots were beguiled by the matrix.

The Chief Great Hector MacLean fell as did most of his retinue - The people's of this land ignorant to the plots around them were scattered, starved, displaced, sold into slavery sent to distant lands.

Our song , music, our history our bards and Druids were silenced - our proud silver weapons and our very dress was abolished under the traitors of the lowlands. (And may I say in the clarity of the day I speak not of such imaginations as dreamt of Sir Walter Scott to please the German Crown).

For then we discovered our worth was less than the cattle, the invaders and feeble Lairds claiming to be Scots would rather starve us and continue with Prima Noctae - The Rape of our woman, the rape of The Land, The Rape of our Heritage.

So you wonder now why we appear Gray on the Outside? Fierce? Morose? With a bite, bark and howl like the Wolves that once roamed the Great Forests with Myrrdin in his madness in a even more distant age than now when another matrix of control was replaced by another.

We pass now through The Mirkwood and here a Raven alights above me in the top of an Oak it looks to East a good omen I sense.

Then the land opens warm green rich and well muscled Centaurs are Rampant and Proud, in their great spaces even younger foals are evident, it is verdant - This is a passage to the Valley of Father Time.. And in that I attempt to shrug off fear.

There is a number 42, a joke perhaps a nod to Douglas Adams and the answer to the universe. 4+2 =6 there is another 47 4+7 = 11 and encapsulation of all paths Ain Soph - THE BOUNDLESS.

There is a Solar Sphere And it needs to be reunited with the 9 and the 10..
So that in turn it may pass The Hidden Gate of Sirius, Daath, (Pluto), to move as a reconciled artful Temperance of Alchemy to Unite with the One... At least from there humanity can clearly make its choice.

For The days of Eld battles of greed that served the few and under beguilement and veils of Conspiracy we served ill out purpose of a psychological and a spiritual e-love-ution -

What will come to pass is no longer the dally of a musical bass line upftont in the likes of HOD 7 ~ for example, for we have tread the paths of these perceived mysteries from, The Lost Continent of Mu - to Mesopotamia - Babylon The Tower of Nimrod - we ran wylde as beast with Gilgamesh, (Enkidu), we succumbed to The Red Priesthood in Atlantis which became the corrupted by their concept of the soul of Mer Ka BA...
Each age has seen the empires of man rise and fall. The Romans and the corrupt Catholicism which mistranslated its own words to blame our sisters for the eating of the fruits of the Tree of Knowledge - who corrupted the Secrets of our own divine femininity and our horned lotus, (Moses generic Ramasses generic), two petalled and horned their third eye as it opened to perceive the world anew.

For in The Fixed stars the secrets of creation I will expose an Apocalypse a lifting of The Veil of The High Priestess who guards the portal of initiation - and she is willing - From The End of The Age of Taurus we and men have robbed... - this feminine and kept her underfoot to what end? To what purpose? To bring us to these days....!

Long ago a Sphinx was build at what is currently a deadened star gate - and trust me, the Kings and Priests Priestesses and Queens were of a Vegetable Body and That was the end of The Age of Leo....

And in each adjacent age the great becomes small and a few return with knowledge to build anew.

Fall not again mankind into The Trap of Seeking the Divine without before you understand the Divine within, for that is the animus and the anima...

For in doing so man and woman you are impotent you are impure you are dull inept and without a voice.

Is it any surprise that the aliens some see or the angels perceived were hermaphrodite? In that there is not a single corruption. It is the perfected love of the reconciliation of opposites - the illumination of paradox.

So in this year when more mysteries will, by the well covered by the Viscus Piscus, (and here be not afflicted by a physical dimension). Be Cleansed, to Be Reflected upon The Mirror of the Great Collective - The Mother Sea The Archetypes of Eld will unite in one common purpose to free us from the true shackles of humanity the very matrix the majority accept for they can perceive no other way.

And when in dreams you hear the bells, horns, pipes, rattles ring true know that the seven seals that are opened for you are The seven chakra of the Vedics.

You will be given the gift of the Gods and Goddesses All to percieve your reality anew.

The Pisces Lord is of an age ending and the Divine I Know of the Age of Aquarius is Now.

Myrrdin has awoken some time ago..
The Barrows opened some time ago..

Grey Wolf Howls

Native American and Celtic custom regard Wolf as the way of find the deepest levels of self, of inner knowing and intuition. This is symbolized by the image of the wolf howling at the moon. Native Americans have long regarded wolves as teachers or pathfinders. In astrology, Wolf is represented by the Dog, Sirius, thought by many aboriginal tribes to be the home of the Ancients.

Wolves are probably the most misunderstood of all wild animals. Stories of cold-bloodedness abound, in spite of their friendly, intelligent and social traits. The wolf, once a much feared and hated animal, has lately become much more appreciated. They now stand a better chance of survival, where they haven’t been hunted to extinction, or near extinction, in some countries. In the USA this culling of wolfs, who are a symbol of wildness, was down to the process of taming the wilderness. Especially where farms were trying to be founded. They were seen as the enemy, especially when they ate farm animals! Perhaps nowadays people are becoming more aware that keeping the harmony of nature and its inhabitants intact is necessary as wolf’s are being reintroduced back into the wilderness in the USA. Of course, farmers are protesting profusely. On a deeper level our emotions toward Wolf reflect our muddled feelings of ourselves as humans. Although we consider ourselves ‘civilized’ we are still animals with our own wild spirit. Wolf reminds us of this, often uneasily.

The wolf, is a symbol of the night. This time can seem lonesome and scary to us. But it is also the time when through dreams, we may discover valuable things about ourselves. This is a lonely path. To truly come to understand yourself, you must be alone, undeterred by the beliefs, judgements and views of others. The wolf teaches us to learn about our inner self and to discover our inner power and strength. However, to achieve this, we must take risks and face our deepest fears. Wolf requires sincerity. Though demanding a lot of us, much is given in return; a spirit helper that is always there to help, giving us extraordinary powers of endurance. Learn to hear the voice within yourself, which in silence is as clear as the sound of the wolf howling in the night.

Wolf is also an extremely gregarious animal, enjoying the company of others. Wolves mate for life. The clan has a solid social structure, in which all adults participate in the upbringing of the young. Wolves are fiercely loyal to their mates, with a strong sense of family whilst upholding individualism. Though their clans are highly organised, they are truly free spirits. They seem to go out of their way to avoid a fight. A shift in posture, a growl, or a glance gets the point across quite readily without violence. We are reminded not to waste resources and to learn how to avoid trouble and confrontations. People with Wolf as power animal have the ability to make quick and firm emotional attachments. Trust your insights about these attachments, wolf will be there to guide you. Take control of your life with Wolf’s assistance and do so with harmony and discipline.

We can truly use wolf as an example in our lives. We can understand that there doesn't need to be a hard separation between the solitary and social paths. Wolf teaches you to balance between the needs your family has of you and the needs you have for yourself. Wolves are totally loyal to the pack but do not give up their identity to the pack. If wolf has come into your life you are must look at where you are being too dependent and where you may be too independent.

Wolfs qualities, his medicine, are the ability to learn knew ideas and then teach them to others. Wolf is thought to be an independent explorer coming back to his pack to teach what he has discovered. We too in exploring the hidden paths of consciousness, may come across new truths to share with the rest of our clan, human beings. Wolf brings faithfulness, inner strength and intuition when he enters our lives, and also teaches us to live with ourselves.

If Wolf finds you, this may be an indication that you are a great teacher or thinker. Or if this is not so, perhaps you need to ponder whether there may be something you need to expand your mind about. Be receptive to new concepts/ideas. By doing so you can gain more wisdom. To increase your Wolf power, you can utilise your newly integrated wisdom and also share it with others. Wisdom is gained through experience, by walking the path. Another way to put it - practise what you preach.

When a lone wolf is spotted in the wilderness it embodies freedom. When seen in a pack it embodies a feel of community. If wolf appears to you alone or in a pack it is asking you to do the same within your own life.

The Wolf's senses are highly developed. They are extremely intelligent with excellent hearing, sense of smell and strong feeling. As well as being determined animals they are also cunning. A wolfs howl is primal and penetrating. The howl is used to locate clan members or to let wolves from outside of the pack know their territory boundaries. If you hear a wolf howl, this may be telling you to stand your ground and defend your boundaries.

Wolves express themselves a lot with body language. If angry, they may stick their ears straight up and show their teeth. A suspicious wolf pulls its ears back and squints. Fear is often indicated by flattening the ears against the head. A wolf wanting to play, dances and bows playfully. Their body language is symbolic to you. Humans also uses body language to send out messages. The study of this art can increase your perception of this power animal.

Wolves hunt in packs, depending on endurance to run down weak and older animals. They have been known to cover 35 miles a day in pursuit. Wolf is a symbol of stamina and strength, teaching you to know who you are, and to develop strength and confidence in what you do.

Wolf's medicine includes death and rebirth, facing death with dignity and courage, Spirit teaching, guidance in dreams and meditations, instinct linked with intelligence, social and family values, steadfastness, skill in protection of self and family, outwitting enemies, ability to pass unseen, taking advantage of change.

The Wizard and The Mage

A Poem Written by my Good Friend and Anam Cara Mhairead MacDonald
And full credit to her
http://themoonskinjournals.wordpress.com/

A poem ( with a few nods in the direction of Rabbie )

Twas on a night they set their mission
to cause a little magic frisson ,

His wee Mage son was not affronted
As through the undergrowth they hunted
he steadied at his fathers side
no fear was there, just silent pride ,
As in the dark so wildly sounded
tooth and claw !
all leaped and bounded..
in between the cries and coos
( the Wizard had a little booze )
they stopped to hear a merry chorus
it was the fey who sang and chanted ...
( och and sure they knew wine was decanted , but worry not young sight is clearer and none does fey hold to them dearer, than the eyes of these so young and bright, sent to this earth to carry light )

see the wizards beardy grow
See the wizards aura glow
see the wizards in the know
see he has a UFO........!!

The Green Vale

There is a place a memory of where I need to go. I wish I could go there now in the physical however another form of journey I will take. A meditation if you will. A return to a sacred copse. I know this place I know it's name deep in the wild wood. It is so beautiful there no matter the season. I could lay down, a root for a pillow, covered by the arched green bowers the scent of earths loam and perfume. Little motes of light that sparkle with fey. Warm and secure and safe as like to a womb, a wizards tomb. I am always there. In her bosom. This is a reality not near any illusion.

I read your words over and over again. I need to for then they may be better ingrained into my mind.

I am not to play a game, for this is a quickening and all of a sudden even in this Isolated Tower with Views across the land to Western Reaches of The Isle of Apples; I feel the swiftness of arrows, the bolts or dorjes of communication which fly in the face of the mercurial god of Olympus - Such it is with Wild Magic for it appears as Chaos and that is a requirement to bend the laws and allow probabilities to only be stopped by such matters as logic.

To know the matter one would need to hear the story from start to finish yet the start remains still behind a veil and the finish is surely in the realms of the endless.

If in that you can throw me a gentle nudge I will suck upon it as previous avatars have had to suck upon the teat of Cerridwen, or when I had to suck upon my burning thumb al but silenced by the opening of memories past and future.

Was there not a moment when I sang with lute and paraded afore selfish King's to make brave their deeds. When all they had done was pay the hunter a bag of gold? When I was as always an child unwanted in truth by the womb that thrust me forth. To cast aside like a rag to sea, to family that did not care or want to understand why my reality would néer be theirs.

To swim in placenta within the great ocean of the unconscious and be nurtured by fey or wolves in the wild wood where only there I could find peace. Apparently alone yet never so for always she watches and waits a nursemaid that whispers what is safe to eat or what to eat to heal or recall, or make like as to stagger until a path was secured.

Previous ages, Previous Matrix from Babylon to this Now. It was the same. The controlling few and us call is what you will. For now Wizard and Witches shall suffice - Shaman either way. We journey, we seek to resolve a balance.

We see them and they see us. We surely know the games that are played. For to the power hungry that covet dominion over the many it has been a long game. And oft it has been required to stand on that edge between one time and the next where magick lays and futures are created.

The works of man have long created archetypes that the profane will bow to.

Do I bow? Not to some Things that corrupt humanity has vomited from their co-creation. To move forward the passages must be cleared. And perhaps yes more often in particular this incarnation my actions have been pure folly. Yet my intent was pure.

I still dally to keep them confused. That is key.

And if I was to say that more so in the past week since visiting upon the archetype of Merlins cave, (and not for the first time), I have questioned myself, my sanity, my purpose and my destiny. For I am perhaps often unreasonable in my appearance however I am full of reason.

Do I require help? Yes; I Do.
Do I want help? Yes; I Do.
Will I bow to man-thing? Never.

So while I can lark of being a stag of seven tines I am here and there I am then and now.

So many of us felt that way like we should not be here or now yet here we are.

Parents came together and through some chance a sperm entered an egg that sperm decided whether we were male or female this is a science fact as much as magick is science or art, with no mystery, yet is it not beautiful - and we developed one cell then another and so on.

That's wonderful. As we developed in mothers womb we ate what she ate floating in her amniotic fluids we were at one stage a snake another a wolf another a chimera and then a human form - is that no less a journey than that of the Shaman of old, or a bard our avatar Talesin? The generics of Merlin perhaps?

And then we were put out into this world and we survived and we have given life itself and nurtured your own children. Or given cafe to another's, even to look after the animals around us as best we can.

We have not done anything less than our ancestors perhaps though what we have done has been done in love, and there is no greater gift and no greater power.

Here I do not speak of Religion or whatever these things are facts, truths and they are beautiful. That is the gift we have given your ancestors.

Our DNA has survived, as has their line. Now that is Magick.

So now we need to have a clear path for humanities consciousness. To give a chance of seeing raises heads looking out towards a starry arch in wonder and the freedom to breath, without corruption charging for the privilege.

In this incarnation I was aware that reality was not as simple as it appeared. I did not let the educational system kill my imagination. The system which you know only to well and have survived sets restrains on our ability to perform the act by it's very insistence on labels and pigeon holes and that which They say does not conform or fit like square peg to round hole is hammered. We are aware, We are very much awake. Even giants need to stretch from a slumber before moving one foot.

In times in this life some have stretched forth to explore alternative realms; I know that most of what is to be found there is another's projection another veil of lies and beguilement to trick even those with sight into the concept of success or to lead them further afield, perhaps to insanity or perhaps to the very place they started from. The reset of the matrix.

"Thus, that which gives us the power to work magic, sets the limits of that power. A mage can control only what is near him, what he can name exactly and wholly. And this is well. If it were not so, the wickedness of the powerful, or the folly of the wise would long ago have sought to change what cannot be changed. . . [A Wizard of Earthsea 47-48"]

Rules and controls within certain realms are easily bent to discord. And why not to THEY not play the very same game, Or perhaps they do not and they have fallen into the trap of their own mundane control system.

"Ah, my friend, you forget. We have not yet mastered the First Ward -- not in generations of study. The best of the Loresraat have failed to unveil the central mysteries. We can do nothing with this new Ward now. Perhaps if we survive this Quest, we will learn from the Second in later years. [Donaldson 432]" Lord Fouls Bane

So they confuse us with rules, passwords, ranks, grades, and Symbols. Such trinkets are for the lower realms. Chaos and Wild Magick breaks beyond such tokens.

"But you must not change one thing, one pebble, one grain of sand, until you know what good and evil will follow on that act. The world is in balance, in Equilibrium. A wizard's power of Changing and of Summoning can shake the balance of the world. It is dangerous, that power. It is most perilous. It must follow knowledge, and serve need. To light a candle is to cast a shadow" . . . [A Wizard of Earthsea 43-44]

There is much wisdom to a fool in the above. Lo even those initiates of the Inner Orders are advised in much the same way. Assuredly we cannot uncreate something which we ourselves have not created. They are told in the reaches of the White Brotherhood this is that and that is this - this is ritual this is your will. And then in an after breath these shabby masters say, "You are not permitted under oath to act, and then some hermetic slop from the Kybalion around the universal law of opposites and polarities and for every action there is and equal counter reaction. And I say what of it?

To say that karma does not exist may well be a folly however I would rather act with impunity in defense of consciousness than sit back and let others of a darker nature play out their nefarious plans.

"Opposites require each other. Otherwise the difference is lost, and only chaos remains. No, there can be no Despite without Creation. Better to ask how the Creator could have forgotten that when he made the Earth. For if he did not forget, then Creation and Despite existed together in his one being, and he did not know it." [Lord Foul's Bane 293]

There are many mysteries that for now I care not to know if they get in the way of emancipation. One thing is Crystal Clear, and I know of my Crystals. I did not reach this point without the catalyst of the being who exists within one. The Demi-Urge that sits over is nothing but a tired ancient old being who would be best to stand well aside in the coming of days.

He raised his hand, and spoke slowly in a cold, clear voice. "Saruman, your staff is broken." There was a crack, and the staff split asunder in Saruman's hand, and the head of it fell down at Gandalf's feet. "Go!" said Gandalf. With a cry Saruman fell back and crawled away. [The Two Towers 569]

There are tools and there are tools and there are tools for fools. And I have all of them at my disposal.

"He only needs the One; for he made that Ring himself, it is his, and he let a great part of his own former power pass into it, so that he could rule all the others. If he recovers it, then he will command them all again, wherever they be, even the Three, and all that has been wrought with them will be laid bare, and he will be stronger than ever." [Fellowship 50]

Be wary of how our tools are powered for much of you is within them. Better to be able to stand clear, cleansed, and naked as a babe against the abyss than to rely upon totems of material goods.

"Do you want my ring?"

"Want?" Foamfollower croaked, looking as if he felt he should laugh but did not have the heart for it. "Want?" His voice quavered painfully, as if were confessing to some kind of aberration. "Do not use such a word, my friend. Wanting is natural, and may succeed or fail without wrong. Say covet, rather. To covet is to desire something which should not be given. Yes, I covet your un-Earth, wild magic, peace-ending white gold . . . I admit the desire. But do not tempt me. [Lord Foul's Bane 197]"

I have such a ring yet what appears as such in this reality you can take fingers and all. It would not stop my will from crossing the dimensions that THEY feast in yet have forgotten how they weave. Think not that the Gods of Olympus are much more divine.

"Then Schmendrick stepped into the open and said a few words. These were short words, undistinguished either by melody or harshness, and Schmendrick himself could not hear them for the Red Bull's dreadful bawling. But he knew what they meant, and he knew exactly how to say them, and he knew that he could say them again when he wanted to, in the same way or in a different way. Now he spoke them gently and with joy, and as he did so he felt his immortality fall from him like armor, or like a shroud. [The Last Unicorn 185]

Words, Vibrate as do letters numbers, colours and shapes the things of nature and that which is called the cosmos can be cast within words. This is an art in itself. Magick is the highest Art Form. It vibrates as does music to your favourite art piece or Opera. It is no less than the greatest stage of all. Except this is no Act. While it may appear a performance - There is only one footstep away from the door of the house. And in that journey new worlds can be born.

And to another tale to finish the words above.

She walks with me. I was once her lover a handfasted youth, a year and a day. I was a younger far less wise child.

She was a maiden.

When that part of the journey ended it damn near broke me. For I did not fully understand her mystery. I thought I was special the only one.

Yet I am but a long line of fools.

She became the mother and nursemaid. While I wallowed in confusion and by the time she became the crone I was furious.

Indeed large areas of the fields were lain waste in my anger and bitterness.

I was Chronos chained to a rock.

And then that revulsion subsided. That day I collapsed, shaking, naked, cold and weeping.

I accepted and understood the blessings she had bestowed upon me.

She had after all taken my on that quest.

And she is old, so very old, and wise in the ways of man, a maid, a lover, a mother, a nursemaid, a crone and harbinger.

She was there before I was born and will be with me until I die.

A reminder of mans folly and vanity.

And she makes us beautiful in her eyes.

Of her consort The God...
Well that is another mystery.
